Which Newt you use?
I used to synch between MP120 and a WinNT box.
I synched names only seldom.
The process of preparing the data on the 120 took a long time.
The workaround was to adjust the settings (on the Newt) such that only one
type of data was synched at one time
(and I did it only one way - Newton wins).
This worked quiet well over a long period of time.
