Don't do a factory reset.
Just startup without any packages. Upon restart, place
your pen on the lower left corner and wait until it
asks you if you want to load packages.
Then when it starts, you can go into the extras drawer
and try to load the packages individually. they are
the ones with the "x's" through them.
This is a lot less work and hassle than flushing your
Newt!
