I know the feeling, when I first got my 2100; it didn't have a dongle and cost me $40.00 to get one. I was a little put off about opening my Messagepad up, however, I have also read that continued of the small serial port can lead to damage and would severely limit Messagepad use, and so I decided to go for it.
