Well, I'm not sure, it may be Newtscape itself or one of extensions that
come with it. When I open newtonbook, in the action menu I have a few
options - save the book to Works as text, save as html and some others. I
can set page range (from current page to whole book). It works, I once did
the exact thing I described - saved book formatted for MP 1x0 as html,
opened it with Newtscape and exported package to deskop.
