So on one hand, people gripe about the poor quality of bundled apps in
Windows, and on the other, they say that MS is trying to put people out of
business illegally by bundling apps.

So...

I guess that MS should not bundle apps, but if they choose to do so, they
better do a good job. Do I have that straight?
