I think you pretty much resume briefly what is happening. Those that have
the hardest time to convert are long time Macintosh users. When I first
started working on NeXTSTEP, back in 1992, I was missing a lot from the Mac
OS. After a while, I came to get used to it and started to appreciate its
elegance, power and stability. Imagine how I was when Apple back in 1997 (or
1998?) did announce that they were buying NeXT! Well, the result was not
really what I was expecting, but I love OS X. I can crank a little
application in no time. The developer tools are way more advanced than
anything I've seen in my career.
