i have it working here.

i have an old centris 610 (low + wide!) running system 8.1 + localtalk
bridge. i print from newton (ethernet) to laserjet 5mp (localtalk). jochen
- what system is the host mac running? if it's an older system perhaps it's
something to do with classic networking vs. open transport? i am absolutely
100% guessing here.

what are your settings? here, they are (on the host mac):

control panels:

appletalk: ethernet

localtalk bridge: on
localtalk bridge - network access: public

i did do a clean install when i set it all up.

otherwise, i dunno??
