Re: [NTLK] Dot-mac overpriced - glee in the lawyers' eyes..

Yahoo is free and they give you 6mb (I regularly go
over this limit so it isn't a hard limit. I once went
as high as 8mb and there was no problem. I cleared it
down to 5mb within 2 days...) Plus, there isn't any
restriction on email name...I tried the others, but
because I had the word "tech" in my name, none of the
other mail services would let me have it! They claimed
that I could impersonate a tech worker and
social-engineer people out of passwords and
crap...uh-huh, right! Like I got that kind of time!
Plus, Yahoo has some really powerful spam filters that
you can customize! I looked at others, but you get
only their canned filters with no adjustments! That
sucks! And they check all email for virus's. I even
sometimes use my Yahoo web account for connecting to
my pop email account! Beats my having to create a
web-based email server. Just open the pop account
within the Yahoo browser and you get all the Yahoo
features and none of the outlook weakness's.
In all, Yahoo has been good to me in the last 6 or 7
years.
