The only essential part that needs to be exchanged (if this is what you
want) is the logic board. You can leave in the speaker, the mike and the
display module. You can even exchange the ROM-boards (f.i. german and U.S.
versions).
The only parts on the logic board which make the difference are the flash
memory chips 2 MB on the MP2000 board and 4 MB on the MP2100 board.
