Yes, I use two of them in my two Newts (MP2100 german and UMP2000).
Make sure that you get an adapter which is best meeting your needs:
I use a 1.5m long cable which has an RJ45 plug on one side, plugs directly
into my HUB,
and the connector to the PCMCIA card on the other side.
If you use thin ethernet, you need a short adapter cable with a little box,
adapting to BNC thin Ethernet. Then you need to connect a BNC cable.
