[NTLK] Mailing packages to Newton- Auto Install?

Quick question:

Since I can't find my old copy of NCU, I tried to email the Wireless
Driver to my 2100. In SimpleMail, it says it is decoding the
attachment but then I can't find it anywhere. Is it even possible to
mail .pkg files to the newton? Since I'm using OS X, could the
system have modified the package?
