Re: [NTLK] Newton print to serial port of HP LaserJet 4?

RS-422 is perfect, but then you need a special cable.
The Newt to PC cable will not do the job because the RS-422 on the Newt side
is connected such that it adapts to the RS-232 on the PC side.

To make such a cable you definitely need the pin out info from the printer
port or maybe a standard RS-422 pinout for SUB-D 25.

Using the null-modem Newt cable instead of the Newt to PC cable will not
change anything, because the Newt to PC cable is a null-modem cable as well.

If you can find a Mac serial (modem) cable, this would do the job. (not
crossed, mini-DIN connector on one side, SUB-D25 on the other side)
