You need this, thx to Mrs. Weyers

"PackType is a small Mac application for fixing the type/creator so that a
package can be used (more easily) with Mac package download utilities. If
you're a Mac developer, use it on the package after uploading to your Mac
(if the icon's not correct) before distributing; if you're a non-Mac
developer, you can distribute it with your package so that Mac users can
drag-and-drop the package onto it.

If you need to change the TYPE and CREATOR of a LOT of .PKGs, I did an
AppleScript that check and change ALL the .PKGs that dont have the proper
TYPE and Creator inside a closed folder. A MUST HAVE if you dowload lots of
.PKGs from Internet or if you have a lot of .PKGs inside a chain of folders
inside folders. But, im not a programer, so, this AppleScript have some
strange behaviors. You cant drag and drop various files or folder. Must to
be ONLY ONE folder. BTW, this folder can have various files or folders
inside.
