So do I. My Mac Classic boots in about half the time my iMac needs. From
its floppy disk, that is.
Sure, it does what it does while booting much slower, but it needn't do
very much.
Sure, my iMac has to do far more to boot a state-of-the-art os.
But I couldn't care less if all I want to do is write two pages of ASCII
text (no, until I got my MP2000 this wasn't in any way possible on my
MP120 without endless waits. Even entering the text into my Palm is faster
than entering it with the Newton keyboard on a Newton 120).
