Too bad it does not work;-(
I was the one to sell the power adaptor. (and it was not the one sold with
the emate, I wouldn't dare doing it)
The fact is that it is an original newton thing (with logo) and it did come
with a newton fax modem (cigaret case). I was able to power and charge my
emate with it so I thought it would work fine.
Does it power the newt but not charge it?
If so: What type of batteries are you using and if you are not using the
original batteries: did you use the battery loading trick (putting a piece
of cardboard on a small buttoon behind the batteries in the battery
compartment)?
