The way it's written now, it looks specifically for KeySpan devices, but
it could be easily modified (source is included, if you're in a hurry :))
to use any serial device AS LONG AS the device shows up in the /dev part
of the file system.
Unfortunately, I don't know what the name of the /dev driver is for the
legacy serial ports on beige G3s. Anyone know?
But, I bet it would probably work, with that modification.
