Basically nothing, they -are- the same. But FWIW I have two of the SanDisk
adapters.

"Best" is relative. Compact Flash is the least expensive and most
generally compatible solid state media available right now, and it has the
highest media densities. Pretec just recently released a 640MB CF-II card,
and of course there are the IBM Microdrives. SD tops out at 128MB at the
moment and costs more for the same capacity as CF or CF-II.
