you just have to change the creator/type of the file to match that of a regular
Newton package. If you search on http://www.versiontracker.com for creator or
type you will find a veritable plethora of apps that will help you do this. I
use CMTools which is part of the contextual menu system for OS9. It is very
handy since I just "control-click" and select Newton.pkg. You have to set it up
to do newton packages, by selecting one that already works.
