Shot logger is a Newton application that allows you to
create videos that are time-synched with Newton to
allow easy indexing of events.
I'm not a videographer, so I don't understand it too
well, but here's the website:

The details are that for about $4,000, you could get a
Newton 2100 (initially it was a 2000) the software and
a wireless transmission device.
What was really novel is that this combination was
actually produced (unlike 90% of the other gadgets in
the newton catalog) and it actually worked as
advertised (got to see a demo once)
Other than that, I don't know.
