What about the NIE patch by Paul Guyot? What does that do for NIE and
could these features be added into another patch?

this means that my network admin will get more arguments aginst apple
branded equipment in netwoks. too bad, but if this is true, i will never
ever use my newton in DHCP networks again...
is this in the FAQ really? i havent seen/read this info before
