By the way, in my quest for the elusive cache of Newton sounds, I
remembered that I had a Mac OS 8.x/9.x compatible sound set for use with
the Appearance control panel - and it's built completely out of Newton
burps, squawks, and toots. If anyone is interested in this, you can grab
it off my server:
