Well, usually when you get fed up with your Palm, you step on it, but
because they're flat they don't snap in half the way you want them to.
This handy little holder is just the thing--now when you lose your temper
because the battery went dead on you and you lost all your data you get a
really satisfying crunch/snap and you are reminded to go back to the Newton
all at the same time.
My guess for wood is ash as well. It has that baseball-bat look to it.
Maybe a bat to go with it? Plus drill a small hole as the test gauge to
make sure you've smashed it into small-enough pieces.
