[NTLK] Newton to Infrared modem?

Is there a way that I can have my Newton talk to my cell phone's modem so
that I can connect this way to the Internet? When I open the "Modem"
prefs, I can only select PC-Cards or the serial port, but not the IR
port. Do I need to install a special extension?
