I just wanted to make the plug that I think this would be both a
slick and very useful newt tool. I do hope that the development of
such a client is as simple as it sounds like it could be below and
suspect that we would find it a powerful newton/web interface.

I am finding it very useful to scribble out short notes and sync them
to the web on a visor and the livejournal client for it that runs in
Avantgo and can only imagine just how much more valuable this ability
would be via my newt.
