    Today I removed a piece of plastic of my adaptor (between the AC plug) and found a fuse there!
 
    This may be interesting for non-US users.
 
    I removed this plastic piece to be able to use a plug-type-changer from a motorola cellular phone charger.

    I found the changer in a flea market for one euro, I think they're quite common nowadays.
