I'm partial to the Sony Vaio SuperSlim series- currently the R505D. I think
they start around US$1600. If you want a really small notebook, the SR
series are pretty cool (the 10.4" screen might be too small tho). I have to
admit that I've never owned one of these Sony machines, I just think they're
wicked cool ;) The fully decked out version of the R505 (for $2400) comes
with more storage, integrated 802.11b, and a SlimDock with extra ports, a
floppy, and a DVD/CD-RW drive. It's cool that you can leave the extra stuff
behind when you don't need it (less than 4.4lb with battery).
