That is what makes the iPod so convenient.

Well, it is still all on the Mac at home and back on the pod in 10mins, and
even if that drive is killed you still have the CDs. At least you should
have them. I do. That is what makes me so furious about copy protection, I
am the idiot who still buys originals, and now I am about to be punished for
that.

USB might be, I have the nagging impression that I have seen that somewhere,
but nevertheless it would of course be just as slow. Ethernet I don't know,
but Ethernet has no own power-supply, hasn't it?
