[NTLK] iPod as litmus test

There's a fourth kind: those who read this forum primarily for Newton
and PDA-related matters, and are amused by what people's reactions to
this gadget reveal about their attitudes towards Apple and computing
trends in general.

I think OS X is going to have far more impact (certainly on me) than
a portable MP3 player. But we didn't go off on tangents about
it. Perhaps that's because we're on this list in the first place
because we like gadgets.

Am I the only one that remembers the negative image of the pod people
taking over the world in the original "Invasion of the Body
Snatchers"? --PR
