I saw the original MP when it first came out and thought it was waaaay
coool but waaaay too expensive for me. About a year ago I bought a MP120
off ebay and by no means am I a 'power user' but just the other day I saw
my sysadmin with his new toy, an iPaq.

I was amazed, because for all the bad press the Newton has received for
its size and poor HWR, the iPaq was every bit as thick (it needs a sleeve
to use a flash/other card) and HWR even worse.. and a proprietary battery
that needs to be replaced by taking the unit in for professional
dissassembly.

I gave my sysadmin my Newton 120 to play with for a few hours.

He was impressed.

What else can anyone say? Except that they also canned Hypercard...
