I've only had this problem due to software conflicts.
My last one was real bad . Even during the last LaNUG meeting, others =
played with a Newt. with a one-inch error.
I deleted some modem prefs. and all is well. After I inserted a modem =
card, the problem really got worse. Just in case, I re-installed the =
modem scripts and dang-nab-it, off by an inch.
Hope yours is easy.
btw, yes I moved around 24 megs. of pkgs. to figure this out. :-(
