Ok guys, if you really want it, you can get it, this is a Newton list, get
it !!!
The subjects we are discussing are basically about the Newton and yes, of
course, we are a community too, so some off topic every now and than, nobody
minds, but endless mindless discussions about the 11th, Afghanistan and what
we're going to drop on their heads etc......... won't do the list a lot of
good and really irritate me after a while.

And yes, I could push the delete button (if people had the courtesy to ad OT
before the subject) but if I have the do that with more than half of the
postings than there's something wrong.

There are surely mailing lists about tune amps, terrorists, ways to kill
each other, but I don't want to hear about it on a Newton list week in week
out.

I was one of the first to post something on this list after the WTC attack
and I think that was very appropriate since we're sort of a community, but
the endless rambling about how to kill them afterwards has very little do to
with community but if you reread those threads a lot with ego's getting off.
If you really want to masturbate in public have some guts and do it on the
street, you'll have time to contemplate if other people really enjoy this
afterwards.

There was already one faithful member that went on 'vacation' from this list
recently because of all of this rambling, which means that my next important
and pressing Newton question gets one answer less, or no answer at all.

Hell, I've been here for the as long as I can remember (I think I share the
memories of Jason Kulas with only a few, he was the top poster for over a
year, about twice as much as Laurent Daudelin ;-) so don't give me this "Do
what you must" crap.
So do what you must and maybe swallow your ego every now and than.
