1) not quite two full serial ports. Only one port actually has a line
driver chip behind it - which makes the other useless, for all real uses,
unless one built an adapter with a line driver behind the other port.
2) The Newton can't even generate stereo sound - the audio in/outs on the
interconnect pins are mono.
