        The guess about making sure the Mac and the Newt are both on 10/100
ports is a good one. I do mention in my original message that the Newton
DOES SEE that the Mac is in the new zone, so I doubt that's it. Our own
local IT Nazis are the proximate cause of all this - precisely (I suspect)
to localize all the Appletalk chatter, all of our Macs were moved to a
separate subnet with its own Cisco switch. It was that move that triggered
this problem.
