Overall, though, does this exercise not show more about one's age than
preferences? I mean, I can't imagine myself thinking of Picard as being the
one, the only, the best, when he's just "second generation" stuff. If,
however, I had grown up on NG, and only seen re-runs of the original series,
and if I hadn't grown up playing with phasers and stuff from the original
series, I would naturally prefer Picard?
Oh fickle emotions...
