This may well be the case, but it's obviously someone else's problem. For
me the question is simply whether I should have any moral problems if I
downloaded a copy of LOTR in Newton Book format, given that I own a
printed copy of this work. My answer is: no, not in the slightest. I may
scan and OCR every page of LOTR (or The Hobbit or whatever -- over the
years, I've bought nearly everything Tolkien ever wrote), only I don't
have a scanner or OCR software, which is why I download a collection of
Newton books that is readily available. If someone thinks this is morally
reprehensible, he or she is certainly entitled to this opinion, but it
isn't mine.
