The very first Pentium was released in March 1993. The various Quadra
models were introduced between 1991 and 1993. The Pentium-90 was released
in March 1994, coinciding with the introduction of the first generation
of PowerMacs (6100, 7100, and 8100) by Apple. In other words, comparing a
Pentium-90 to a Quadra isn't entirely fair, as the Mac was about two,
maybe three years older than the PC.
