Yep, definitely speed. Transfer and backup data much more faster.

Here are some more reasons worth considering:

- Easier to use and you don't need the dongle.

- Frees up a serial port on your computer.

- Easier to carry; an Ethernet card and cable takes up less space.

- And for non Emate users, allows you to have your keyboard connected at
the same time.
