Hello,

I work with an engineering company in Alberta Canada and we have made
preperations to support the upgrading of old Messagepad 2XXX backlights for
new ones. These new backlights will be as bright or brighter than the ones
that came with the Newton 2XXX from apple.

The rated life on our backlights is 2500 HRS.

In the future if the demand is there we will begin taking custom orders for
the color of backlight that you would like to replace your old backlight
with.
