my Newton is chattering up a storm. I think it was the loose speaker wire
connection. I tried the hard restart and it was still mute, so then I
opened up the back, it was pretty easy, and nudged the connector and wires.
Put it all back together and viola.
Of course, even a silent Newton would be better than...basically anything
else out there ;)
