I've never used protection on my Newt (mp2000u) and I
regret it to this day. I love a good game of Solitare
last thing at night to put me to sleep, or
Yatzee...Unfortunatly, I now have scratches (I have
them scattered all over the screen because as one area
gets scratched, I rotate the screen and wear that
section out...etc, etc!)Plus, I do do a LOT of writing
on the Newt (I used to use a keyboard, but find it a
hassle, and it destroyed my dongle-port!) Fortunatly
(or, unfortunatly) there is now so much wrong with my
Newt, I need to send it in to get fixed (replaced?)
Considering that my Newt has been by my side for 3
countries, both coasts (and Hawaii) two jobs and 5
years now (my first note is dated 2/07/96!) I think
that it has performed commendably!(the only time I was
ever without a Newt was when I got my 120 os1.3
upgraded to os2.0 and when I sent in my mp2000 to the
doctor to get it upgraded to a mp2100) Luckily I have
my 120 still so the pain won't be so bad this time!
