Sounds to me like someone had something go wrong with their 2000 case (or
something), bought a defunct 2100 and popped in their old 2000 motherboard.
Might even be possible that the guy offering it wasn't the one that did
this, but rather was fed this line of bull by the original crook (I mean
'owner'.). Or not...
