Don't!!!!!!!
If you set it incorrectly you can flood the list in about 300 seconds.
VIZ... you email sends a note to the list to say your on vacation. Your
reader also gets that note to say you are on vacation and your reader
responds with ANOTHER NOTE TO SAY YOUR ON VACATION which your reader also
gets to say your on vacation, then Woo sends in another gem of information
and your reader sends another note to say that your on vacation while the
fist note is still being responded to the second note from Woo begins it all
over again.

I have been called in to turn off servers that have over 50,000 emails in
under an hour because everyone then starts to complain onlist that someone
should do something about it and all those notes also generate the same note
over and over again.

So my advise as an administrator is just go on vacation, leave your reader
as it is now. And when you come back everyone will still be on speaking
terms with you.

P.S. Stupid question, How does one set vacation mode?
