Just for fun, what is the most expensive memory that you've purchased?

Mine was a 96K (3x32K) module for $995. Got it on sale. Regular price
was $1,295.

Let's see, at $995, that's about 96 bytes per dollar, or about 1 penny
per byte.

...at $1,295, that's about 74 bytes per dollar, or about 1.3 pennies per
byte.

Shoot, that makes those 32MB SIMs in the early 90's for $3,200 look
pretty darn reasonable.

They were 10K bytes per dollar, or 1/100 of a penny per byte.
