I spent a long time waiting for prices on ebay to reach some sort of
consensus. When I had just about lost hope ( there were about two weeks when
I finally got the go ahead to get a Newton that there were _no_ 2x00's on
ebay ), I got a tip to check out auctions.yahoo.com and
auctions.yahoo.co.uk. Absolutely no feeding frenzy, and I got a great deal
on an upgraded 2000 with ethernet, modem, and 20MB card, keyboard, and case
for US$400. A little more hassle getting the money to him, and getting the
Newton to me, but I've been extremely happy ever since. Oh, he threw in a
broken 120 as well.

Try some of the off-the-beaten-path sites. I really miss the Newton
Classifieds at <URL:http://www.personaladdoctor.com/newton/> <hint, hint,
whoever runs it>
