Hello Mega Man and Fellow Newtonians,

I finally got it done!!! It tooks several hours of
swapping Mac Formatted disks (1.4 MB) on a Power Macintosh 4400; saving files to
the hard drive; then saving those files to a PC Formatted disk (1.4MB); then
taking those to a Gateway 2000 and transferring them to a Zip drive (100MB).
Jumped a lot of hurdles, crashed the old but trusty 4400 several times (it
forgave me for swearing at it). No easy feat but accomplished. I just uploaded
the entire TeleType GPS Software Folder (Manual and all US States, Canadian
Provinces, and Highways in bwtween) to UNNA (www.unna.org ). I don't know if it is immediately
available but the website uploading page confirmed that I posted it
correctly. So it is now and hopefully forever available to all who travel,
whether it be down the street or around the world, with their trusty Newton on
UNNA and whoever else wished to host it on their website. Take care all and
enjoy!!!

Wear the Day Well,

Ermin

i was wondering if there would be any way for you to maybe put it up on the

web, geocities.com for example, to make it possible for people who have

limits on their email account to download all the packages.

 Hello all,

I finally got the GPS software off the Mac Floppies.

After several hours of juggling floppies between a Power Macintosh
4400

(with no zip drive) and a Gatway 2000 (that couldn't read Mac floppies)
I

finally got the files extracted and onto a zip disk and zipped at that.
No

 easy

feat for a computer enthusiast. I only included the actual GPS package
and

 the

Manual in PDF format in this email as I had noticed that several of you

 have

Hotmail accounts and the entire thing is over 4 MBs. I wasn't sure how
you

 all

wanted to handle this. I have the files broken down into three folders:

 Canada

Towns, Highways, and US Towns (which is the largest package). I wasn't
sure

 if

your email accounts could handle files larger than two megabytes. Let
me

 know

and I will email you appropriately.

 Ermin

    TeleTypeGPS2.0.9.pkg
