You can always use ResEdit, a free resource editor from Apple. ResEdit has
the ability to edit the Finder information of any file, including the file
type and creator. For a Newton package, you need to set the file type to
'pkg ' (with a space at the end) and the file creator to '1NCU', both
without the quotes, of course. Type the type and creator exactly as they
appear here, with regard to lowercase and uppercase. That should work.
ResEdit is available from different places, the most recent version being on
the Apple web site, in the tools section of the developer section.
