Whew. You can, but like others have said, use SoftCharge to get a better
reading.
BTW, I suggest NiMH rechargable Energizers with the 1600 mAh ratings. Mine
cost US$24.95 for four AA's with charger. Supposed to be rechargable 1000+
times. I have one set in my Newt. and one recharging. These are also
lighter than alks. I get 15-20 hours on my AMP2KU. I guess you'll ave.
8-12 hours of constant use. HTH!
