For years I've used Now Contact, version 3.65. Despite some previous posts
here on Newtontalk, I've never had a problem using Newton Connection
Utilities to transfer my contacts from 3.65 to the Names file in my Newton
2100.
However recently I upgraded to Now Contact 3.83 and I can no longer transfer
names to the Newton. I get that same error message others have described
that suggests the file is open (it's not) or the destination is locked (it's
not.)
Does anyone know a work-around, such as importing contact info into an
earlier version of Now Contact before synching?
Also, somebody mentioned using the old Now Synchronize, but I was unable to
find it on the Power On Web Site. Will this work with version 3.8, and if
so where do I get it?
