717260 has been released in 1997. It is the latest Apple released for your MP.
However, P&M Consulting (i.e. my Company) released a system update
for MP2x00-US in January, 31st 2000. It is therefore 710031.
All information is available in the FAQ, including where to find
updates, what's the numbering system, etc...

BTW, -1 just means that you have one extension patch.
You will always for extensions are in the ROM. Newton MP2x00 ROMs
have only one extension, while the ROM can have up to four. In this
extension there is the diagnose code, and some packages. (I'll try to
remember to put this addendum in the next FAQ)

The update number is 717260. The OS number is 2.1 (this can be
changed by updates, too). Hence you have 2.1 updated 717260.
