I just bought a Xircom Credit Card Modem 33.6 after I read on Lens Newton
Bookmarks (http://www.dca.net/cgi-bin/cgiwrap/lenlutz/newton.cgi) that it's
a reliable modem with a 2x00 but I can't get it to work.
Though the Newton recognizes it as a communications card when it tries to
dial I get the message: "Your modem isn't responding properly"
Internet setup work fine with other modems and I chose 28.8 and faster and
defined the right PC Card slot, anybody any ideas ?
